About the project

The client operates a 4-hectare farm located in the rural Manyana area and was in need of a reliable and cost-effective solution to generate electricity for his farmhouse, power a borehole, and support various farm equipment essential for an ongoing agricultural project. Given the high cost and impracticality of extending electricity from the national grid to the farm, our team conducted an on-site assessment and proposed the installation of a 15KW solar power system as an ideal starting point. This system is designed to be scalable, allowing for gradual upgrades as the farm’s energy demands increase over time. To ensure long-term reliability and performance, we recommended the use of equipment from Deye, a reputable and trusted brand in the renewable energy sector. The proposed setup also includes a robust 20KW battery storage system capable of providing up to 24 hours of backup power in the event of a cloudy day or lack of sunlight, ensuring uninterrupted operations on the farm.

From User

The 15KW solar system has been working efficiently with no challenges experienced so far. The remote monitoring feature through the mobile app allows me to track the system’s performance in real time, and it has proven to be a very convenient and valuable tool. Working with the Solarpro team was a positive experience overall; while there were a few delays from suppliers—mainly due to the specific components required for the project—the team handled the situation professionally and executed the installation with expertise. I appreciate their commitment to quality and the regular check-ins they conduct to ensure my system continues to perform optimally.

From Installer

The 15KW solar system installed in Manyana was designed to meet the client’s off-grid energy needs for a 4-hectare farm, including powering the farmhouse, borehole, and essential agricultural equipment. We implemented a scalable solution using reliable Deye components, supported by a 20KW battery backup capable of lasting up to 24 hours without sunlight. Despite minor supplier delays due to specialized components, the installation was completed successfully. The client has reported efficient system performance, no issues to date, and finds the remote monitoring app highly convenient. We continue to provide regular check-ins to ensure optimal system functionality.
